Kids grow up too soon. In the middle of childhood's chaos, we want our kids to be all grown up, but when they do, we realize that their childhood passed too soon. Then we wish we had done some things differently. With kids it's best to do it right, when we do have the opportunity. When they are young, as parents we should give them our best, though we haven't gone to any parenting school. One of the best activities both parents and kids enjoy is playing. From old fashioned activities to playing games on apps, time spent together is the best. These are the crucial years, when the kids absorb all that we teach them.

Kids love making crafts, but they need to be easy and parents must not worry about making a mess. Not all craft activities result in something pretty and neat. Sometimes thigns go wrong and the end result is not what was planned for, but it's okay for the fun was in the time spent together on making it. Start by making superheroes.

Getting kids to participate in cooking or making a snack is a great way to get the kids to feel like they are participating in family activiites. They love to contribute and help. Here's an easy recipe, kids can easily participate in.

Try making simple toys with your kids. It's a great way to have fun, but what is rarely spoken off is the immense learning. It's good to teach young kids to build simple things. Give them a feel for material and possibilities. Also teaches them to appreciate effort which goes into building things.
